Lots of medical missionary organizations have tried to improve the medical health environment in Africa during the past century. Even then, the situation of Africa is still insufficient.
Improving the health environment cannot be achieved even if lots of developed countries provide many kinds of support and establish hospitals in Africa.
The Government of Ethiopia is working to strengthen the healthcare system to align it with the Millennium Development Goals of the country. But, they have not had marvelous success.
On the other hand, medical missionaries who came from North America to Korea 130 years were able to achieve great accomplishments. I think we need to evaluate and follow the example of the first missionaries to Korea in order to have similar success in Ethiopia.
