I have lived and functioned within a new operating system (OS) since 1997. I would like to share with you this new OS and new software -a radically different one from the one I operated within for 30 years. The radial changes in my life are 1) the Lord, 2) the goal of my life, and 3) way of living. Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”(Luke 9:23) A ‘Disciple’s life’ asks for 1) denial of oneself and 2) following His will, not one’s one. This is a calling that applies to all Christians who have shifted to the new OS. I desire for every moment of my life to become the life of Christ (Gal. 2:20). I believe that the only way to accomplish “living as a disciple daily” is by living through the Holy Spirit (Rom. 8:3-4). It is the new software in the new OS.
