  • Title: Short term missions - 20 years of mistakes, practical aspects and funding opportunities

Synopsis:

Short term missions is fraught with mistakes, funding difficulties, and cultural misunderstandings. I will be sharing all of the problems, shortcomings, and mistakes I have made over the past 25 years. I will also share funding opportunities as this is often difficult and a barrier when it should not be. I want this lecture to be very practical and address the appropriate do's and do nots of short term missions. It is still a learning process, but I want to share inspirational stories from when I was a student to the present time and how I have matured and changed in my approach to short term missions.
