Dr. Susanna Choi / OB-GYN
This workshop will address the issues of being a woman and a doctor, involved in world missions and raising a family. The speaker will discuss the challenges that this journey brings. Come hear one woman’s attempt to do it following God’s way. (Proverbs 31)
Growing up, Dr. Choi said she’ll never become a doctor or go into OBGYN.
Well-she has been in private practice in OBGYN for 30 years and has done mission work in Pakistan, Cambodia, North Korea and China. She didn’t think she could do much of “field medicine”, but now realizes that half the world is her patients-females. She has performed surgeries in all of those countries.
Her current wellness practice incorporates physical, emotional and spiritual components of one’s health and her passion is to get people healthy and help them maintain wellness. She lives in Colorado and is married to Jay and has 3 sons and 3 grandsons.
