Biography

Dr. Sang Eun Park graduated from Korea University Medical College and completed his PhD degree at the Graduate School of Kosin University Medical College. He studied Theology and Christian Worldview at Covenant Theological Seminary, Saint Louis in USA and Trinity Western University in Canada.

Dr. Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology, at Kosin University Medical College, and is the President of Sam Medical Center.

2002-2006    Dr. Park served the International Christian Medical and Dental Association as a board member of the Executive Committee.

2005-2009    Chairman of the Korean Christian Medical Fellowship 

2010-2012    President of then Korean Christian Hospital Association 

2014-2017    Chairman of the National & Presidential Bioethics Committee in the Korean Government

Currently,

Dr. Park serves as the President of Africa Future Foundation since 2011-present.  

Since 2021, he has been the President of the Korean Society of Global Health, and is also the 

Current Mission President for Sam Global Hospital.

Among his many awards, Dr. Sang Eun Park has received:

• Certificate of Commendation by the Minister of Health

• Citation by the Governor of Gyeonggi Province

• Presidential Citation for Health Care Development
