GMMA has been my favorite part of college because it is so rooted in the foundations of what it is to be a follower of our savior, Christ Jesus. This program gives me the opportunity to be in community with fellow Christians and use our passion for Jesus and medicine to help others, while sharing the good news. GMMA allows us to go on missions in other countries, but more importantly, teaches us that the mission starts in our own community.

Vice President

Major: Allied Health with Biology Minor

I joined GMMA because I wanted to be a part of an organization that not only prepares me for my future as a medical professional, but also gives me the opportunity to work alongside a group of people who share a Christ-centered belief. It is a blessing to be able to incorporate God in all that we do. My faith has been the biggest part of my life, and GMMA has allowed me to carry that with me throughout my college experience. As an officer, I am excited to share all that GMMA has to offer with our members this coming year.

GMMA is an amazing organization and what really drew me into GMMA was the core values it contained. GMMAs goal and purpose was to go out and serve alongside other Christ followers through mission both locally and globally. Members of the organization get the opportunity to engage, grow, and serve using their passion and calling for medicine to minister to others.

My favorite thing about GMMA is the community of like-minded believers whose priorities are to love Jesus and serve His people. I aim to serve the Lord through my work, my school, and all of my activities. GMMA is how I choose to serve Jesus. Being His missionaries on campus, in needy areas, throughout Texas, and throughout Mexico and Honduras is a way to follow in His steps. We heal the body so we can speak to the soul.

What I enjoy the most about GMMA is the spiritual community and the unrelenting outreach to others. I’ve met so many friends that share and encourage my passion for Christ and the members here are so welcoming. And, the reason I wanted to join the officer team is because I wanted freshmen and newcomers to have the same welcoming experience as me.

GMMA is an organization where every member, regardless of their position, can grow in their faith and serve together for a common purpose. GMMA meetings and events are also a great opportunity to unplug from daily stressors and be in the presence of the Lord. I committed to GMMA because I wanted to be part of an organization that felt like home. GMMA provides that for me and much more.

GMMA to me has not only been a opportunity for me to better prepare myself for the medical field, but it has also brought me a community I never thought I would have coming to Texas A&M. I view everyone in here as like a family now. I commit to becoming a GMMA officer because I wanted to try to create that community for other people that join GMMA.

GMMA is so important to me because of the values each of its team members hold, and above all that it is Christ-led. I love how in this organization, we are able to serve others with love alongside other friends! Each of are also able to find an outlet of pursuing our passion in medicine and learning how to apply it better in our world today.
